My big keurig brewed it’s last cup for almost 10 years and I’ve been eyeing this one for the longest time. I finally snagged one off a great deal and put it to work. I don’t have much counter space and this one did not hog up room. I was frustrated at first because it did not brew right away like my old one. When you fill up the reservoir, it will drain what’s filled – even as you pour more water in. I became impatient and poured more water, causing it to overflow. So what it does is suck the water from the reservoir and it takes a good 30-45 secs bc it had to warm up before it brews. It takes up to 12 oz so if you plan on filling up a 17 oz travel mug, you’ll have to pour in the right amount twice. This is meant for 1 serving. Overall, I’m content, but not suitable for me.

I have had a 1 cup model: actually have 2 at 2 different small homes: have had for 10+ years, the first one just quit working so I needed a replacement. I didn’t want the reservoir kind, I have small space and really just want 1 cup at a time. This new one is great – so compact, small, simple, easy to clean, I love it.
Also coffee seems to come out a little hotter than my old models, it seems to take a few seconds longer, but no big deal at all; just a tiny delay over the old model that was much bulkier; this one is really only about 5″ wide and not tall, very clean lines and takes up little space. I love it.

, I don’t think it takes any longer to make one cup of coffee in this new single serve Keurig than it did in my larger water capacity model. Yes, you do have to put water in it each time and you do have to wait for that water to heat up … but I had to wait a longer time for more water to heat up in my big Keurig. And the amount of time it takes for the coffee to pour into your cup is the same as in the larger model machine—also, the sound is about the same, not loud enough to wake anyone up in another room.

so I mentioned the splashing, which after looking for solutions online I realized was a common problem with this Keurig model (should have done that before…oh well). I tried putting a silicone top with a small hole to let the coffee go through, it was a fail. So I bought those cheap plastic cup at my grocery store and they are just the right size, no more splashing all over my counter.
Of course I would have loved for it to just work “normally” but at least now I can use it without having to clean afterward.

My old kuerig finally gave up after many years, so I figured it was time to get another. There are many things I really like about this maker. The size is great as my kitchen is pretty small. The area for the mug is terrific – tall and not rounded so I can put pretty much any mug in there. My old one had a rounded and tight space so only my smallest mugs would fit. The water reservoir holds plenty for each cup I want to make. The tuck in cord keeps my counter less cluttered too. One of the main reasons I chose this maker was that you can use any brand of pod and best of all – I can use my reusable filter and my own fresh coffee. I also like the idea that is is JUST a coffee maker, no gadgets, bells and whistles. Just coffee, water and done. Very happy with my purchase

First off the size is great! We live in a small home with not a lot of counter space and this works for the space! You do have to put water in it every time you are going to make coffee but it’s fine it’s one extra step. I use a small measuring cup to add water and it works. When you turn it on add water and start brewing the water drops into another area where the water heats up then within a few seconds it begins brewing. I also love the color options that were available it makes it look different and not boring. All in all, it does the job! Oh yes you can remove the tray and use a traveling mug with no problem!
